Local Students Read All the Way to the NBA!

bucksCongratulations to the SEVEN local readers who completed the Milwaukee Bucks’ Read To Achieve Challenge!  For their efforts, they are each getting a free ticket to a Bucks game in March.

In order to complete the challenge, students in grades 3 through 10 had to read 500 pages (minimum) in books, magazines and newspapers between January 3rd and February 27th.  Of the 7 who completed the task, four read 750+ pages, entering them into the “overtime” drawing for additional prizes at the game including being recognized at halftime.

The seven kids who completed the challenge are: Brandon, Darin & Elly G.,  Elly & Eva R-M, Ben W & Leilain F-W.  Brandon, Ben, Elly R-M & Leilani each completed the “Overtime” challenge.

We’ll be doing the NBA Challenge again next year if the franchise offers it!

Hope to see you soon at the library!
